Children's Chairs Makeover

These days, kids tables and chairs seem to be built with particle board or plastic. I'm not a fan, so when I found this wooden table, I knew I needed the right chairs. I had these metal chairs that were covered in yellow plastic and realized these would be perfect with the table.

These chairs are great to wipe down because of the plastic cover. I could have gone that route, but I probably wouldn't have liked it. I wanted a bold and fun fabric to complement the table. I removed the top pad and seat cushion. Afterwards, I gave the chair frame a good wipe down and spray painted in Krylon primer and paint in white.

I found this fun fabric one day walking through Walmart, and it was on sale for $3.00 for 2 yards. It's such a fun and bold print I couldn't pass it up.  This part is so easy and I forgot to take pictures of the step by step. Just trace around each section and add 1 inch extra. Once the fabric was cut, I stapled the new fabric. Voila! I love how these chairs turned out.

This is such a fun table now and my little one has enjoyed it as well. Remember to link up on my weekly party on Sunday's called Dishing It & Digging It! Have a great week.
