Blog Trade - Amanda From Mommy Is Coocoo

I am happy to introduce to you Amanda from Mommy is CooCoo. I love her blog name! She has some great ideas, tutorials and I just love how she is not afraid to use colors. Enjoy this post and stop by her lovely blog and follow this lovely lady.

Hello! I am Amanda and I blog at mommy is coocoo.

I'm thrilled to be guest posting at DIY 180... !

~ My blog is all about fun! ~

Whether you are laughing about the realities of marriage and motherhood or being inspired to make your everyday surroundings lovely, regardless of your budget. I hope your 2013 is off to a wonderful start. I'd like to share some of my best projects of 2012

My madness passion for doors continued when I...
mounted this 5 panel door on to the wall in {my daughter} Pearl's Bathroom
Which coffee table do you like best?
I bought two identical coffee tables when Nanny was in need of a new table.
See what the boring coffee tables looked like before and see which one Nanny chose here.

I love fabric! My embroidery hoop wall art  is one of my favorite things in my home.  I feel happy every time I look at it.  It's an inexpensive way to make a boring wall beautiful.
I bought this vintage metal glider when I was shopping at a craft co-op.
Read about the transformation here.

I showed you a detailed how to glaze tutorial when I painted my Peacock Blue Table

 4th of July pallet artwork
I showed you how to make a Yarn-Rosette Wreath

 Reupholstered Sofa
Check out the UGLY sofa before picture here
Finally, I completed my favorite project of 2012
and I helped you use your imagination when I taught you how to remove a large vanity mirror.

Thank you for allowing me to share today Vanessa!  If you'd like to see what I am working on this year or learn more about the whole coocoo family head on over to www.mommyiscoocoo.com

  5. How fun to see your projects Amanda. I love the bureau and I have to say I love the tables but the first one would be more of something I would be able to pull off. The second one looks so detailed with the chandelier..I would totally mess it up:) I will peak over to your blog as well. Vanessa, you had asked me about the inside of my flower...I create clay pieces to resemble sealing wax. I use brads or other findings for the center of the clay. Thanks for asking! Lisa
