Happy Glazing!

I have been going happy with my Martha Stewart glazing and let me tell you I have used this glazing on wood, plaster, metal and laminate and it has works great on all these surfaces. Seriously, this stuff is AWESOME! Start out with your project painted then add the glaze and leave the glaze on for about 10 minutes before wiping off with a soft cloth or rub in with your fingers ( I do both method). You may have to apply more glaze to get a darker effect, but the amount of glaze you will be using is minimal, unless it's a big furniture piece.

My lastest victim was a frame and hooks. As you can see they where a bit dark and it just wasn't the right color for my kitchen.
I sprayed painted the frame ivory by Krylon.
Add the glaze and let it sit for 10 minutes and wipe with a soft cloth.  I did apply about three coats, but I just used what glaze was left on the paint brush.
I forgot to take a before pictures of these hooks, but they where dark like the frame. I used this gold paint by Rust-Oleum
Once the paint was dried, I applied glaze on the metal and rubbed in with my fingers and wipe with cloth.
I love how these turned out.
They are more noticeable on my wall now. Love it!
Get inspired to take what you have and give it a face-lift and it really does change the look in your home. If you like darker or lighter colors Martha Stewart glaze has a lot of options to choice from.  Martha is getting a free plug from me. LOL!  I know they are other glazing out there, but this is what I am using for now and I've had great experience with it. Thanks so much for stopping by and I LOVE your SWEET comments!

Hugs,

Vanessa
