Upcycled Christmas Ornament

My family and I had a great time on Thanksgiving and I am in full swing to finish decorating for Christmas. While others are shopping for Black Friday, we stay home and spend time together. Its a sweet time.
Today, as I was trying to finish up my tutorial the paint wasn't working out well. Then I repainted and tried to paint on letters and that didn't work out either. While I was doing this, I kept having this thought to use this broken ornament I had for this project. Everything I used in this project is upcycle materials. The wood piece was from a toy my little girl doesn't have anymore and the ornament was a broken one I used. The paint I had on hand, so over all, this project cost me $0. Love it! So, this is what I came up with -
Do you see the first attempted of painting, ugly! I sprayed Banner Red, my favorite color.
Supplies you will need also scissors works great to trim the ornament. Do you see the metal cap on the ornament, I used it to make stars.
After I lay out my pieces used E600 and a toothpick and laid my pieces down.

Do you like my snow flakes? I love this Christmas wall art and I plan on adding it to my decor this weekend.
I love this time of year and I treasure the times I have with my family and I love making sweet memories for my children. This weekend I plan on watching all these movies with my family. What are you going to do this weekend?

Thank you for stopping by and I LOVE sweet comments, so drop me a line. Have a great weekend!

Vanessa

  7. Okay, the only thing I've ever done with a broken ornament was throw it away...after reading your post I'll be stashing them going forward :-). Thanks for the tutorial a good way to save money and decorate at the same time. I'm a new follower please drop by when you have a chance.

  9. Ok, that seriously was pretty creative, when I break a ornament I throw it away. Great now I have something else I wont throw in the garbage. But this is really cute. Thanks so much for sharing at Sunday's Best.
